Swapz has created a privacy policy because we value our members and recognise their right to keep personal information private. This statement discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for all sites managed by Swapz.

Membership Registration
Registration on Swapz is completely free, however users must register to become a member. Only registered members are able to use any facility of Swapz.

To complete the registration process, you must choose a username and password. You must also record your full name, address and contact details.

We may use this information to send members useful and relevant information about Swapz. The information is also used for verification purposes.

If you forget your username and/or password, you can request that we provide this information for you.

Your username should not contain information of the identity or contact of the member, eg. telephone number, website address, etc.

Swapz requests that feedback is given, by both trading parties. This will help build a reputation for both parties and become a trusted member.

Confidentiality of Personal Information
Swapz recognises that your personal details and the information related to your account is highly personal and confidential. Access to your personal information can be obtained by the use of your username and password.

You are responsible for ensuring the privacy and security of your username and password. Swapz does not sell, trade, rent or lend your personal information to others.

If you contact us to report an error or request assistance, authorised Swapz employees may access your user registration details solely in order to diagnose your problem and identify solutions.

We will never give out your address or contact details to any other member withour prior consent. We are obliged to give your personal details to the Police and Local Government bodies on request should there be a legal issue arising from a completed trade.

Opt out
It is the policy of Swapz to send our members emails throughout the application process and other email they elect to receive, in addition to customary business communications (payment confirmations, etc.). Further, it is our policy to immediately remove any member from any mailing list upon the member's request. In addition,
1. You may at any time opt-out from receiving communication from us, i.e. emails, newsletters, etc, and will not affect your membership.
2. You may at any time de-register and cancel your membership by contacting Swapz.
